blanco... Llano... Gillespie... Kendall and Burnet counties is
cancelled...

the storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore the warning has been cancelled. However small hail, gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 am CDT for
south central Texas.

counties until 215 am CDT...

At 114 am CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Kempner to near Smithwick to near blanco
to 6 miles east of Pipe Creek to near Hondo to 7 miles northwest of
Frio Town. Movement was east at 50 mph.

Dime size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
San Antonio, Austin, Round Rock, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Cedar
Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Schertz, Kyle, Seguin, Cibolo,
Universal City, Taylor, Live Oak, Boerne, Buda, Hondo, Selma and
Kingsland.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
