Wind Advisory
Issued: 4:10 AM CDT Mar. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory in effect from 10 am this morning to 6 PM CDT
this evening...

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 10 am this morning to 6 PM CDT
this evening.

* Timing... from late morning through the afternoon.

* Winds... south sustained 20 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

* Impacts... difficult driving conditions for high profile vehicles
especially on east-west roadways and on bridges and overpasses.
Loose lawn objects along with trash cans will be blown around.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 20 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
