Issued: 11:40 PM CDT Aug. 25, 2016 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a

* small stream Flood Advisory for...
east central Osage County in northeastern Oklahoma...
southwestern Washington County in northeastern Oklahoma...

* until 300 am CDT

* at 1136 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow moving
thunderstorms. This will likely cause small stream flooding in the
advisory area. Radar estimates that rain rates are between 1.5 and
2 inches per hour with the slow moving storms over southern
Washington County and far east central Osage County near the town
of Ochelata.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Bartlesville... Ramona...
Ochelata... Avant...
Wolco...

Additional heavy rainfall is expected over the area. This additional rain will make
flooding more likely. If trends continue... a Flash Flood Warning may be needed.
