... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Friday afternoon...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Arkansas, eastern Arkansas, southeast
Arkansas, and southwest Arkansas, including the following
areas, in central Arkansas, Grant, Lonoke, and prairie. In
eastern Arkansas, Monroe and Woodruff. In southeast Arkansas,
Arkansas, Bradley, Cleveland, Desha, Drew, Jefferson, and
Lincoln. In southwest Arkansas, Calhoun, Dallas, and Ouachita.

* Through Friday afternoon

* two to four inches of rain will be possible across the southeast
half of Arkansas through Saturday morning. Localized amounts
greater than four inches are possible.

* The remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy will pass over the
southeast half of Arkansas tonight, with heavy rainfall
possible. The highest amounts will be primarily along and east
of the center, which will be mainly east of a Camden to Searcy
line.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
