Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 3:58 AM CST Feb. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening...

* precipitation... some freezing drizzle... 2 to 4 inches snow
total.

* Timing... some freezing drizzle is possible through 9 am...
changing to light snow from northwest to southeast. Light snow
will continue this morning and taper off this afternoon.

* Winds... north at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 35 mph.

* Impacts... travel will become dangerous as roads become snow-
covered and slick. Falling and blowing snow will reduce
visibilities. Air travel could also be affected at regional
airports.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
periods of snow and blowing snow will cause primarily travel
difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
visibilities... and use caution while driving.
