The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
southern Lincoln County in central Kansas...
eastern Barton County in central Kansas...
northern Rice County in central Kansas...
Ellsworth County in central Kansas...

* until 845 PM CDT

* at 341 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms
producing very heavy rainfall rates which may cause flooding. An
estimated one to three inches of rain has already fallen in a
short period of time from Lincoln County... south through Ellsworth
County and into northwest Rice County.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Ellsworth... Ellinwood... Wilson... Claflin... Kanopolis... Lincoln...
Chase... Holyrood... Sylvan Grove... Bushton... Geneseo... Beverly...
Lorraine... Raymond... Frederick... Ellsworth Airport...
Kanopolis State Park... Westfall... silica and Kanopolis Lake.

Additional rainfall amounts up to two inches are possible in
the warned area.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 205 and 235.

Turn around... don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
