Watches & Warnings

Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 8:53 AM CST Feb. 22, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory now in effect until noon CST today...

* visibility... one quarter mile or less at times, with the lowest
visibility in areas north of I-72. Steady improvement in
visibility is expected after 10 am.

* Impacts... areas of low visibility and rapid changes in
visibility will cause hazardous driving conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
