eastern Greene County in southwestern Illinois...
northern Macoupin County in southwestern Illinois...

* until 630 am CDT Monday

* at 1128 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have
already fallen since 10 PM. Flash flooding is expected to begin
shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Virden... Carrollton... Girard... Greenfield... Palmyra...
Athensville... Wrights... Nilwood... Modesto... Hettick...
Rockbridge and Scottville.

Additional rainfall amounts of two inches are possible in the warned
area.
