... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect from 4 PM CDT this
afternoon through Thursday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Illinois, Iowa, and northeast Missouri, including
the following areas, in Illinois, Bureau, Hancock, Henderson,
Henry IL, McDonough, Mercer, Putnam, Rock Island, Warren, and
Whiteside. In Iowa, Cedar, Clinton, Des Moines, Henry IA,
Iowa, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine,
Scott, Van Buren, and Washington. In northeast Missouri, Clark
and Scotland.

* From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Thursday morning

* storms will be capable of high rainfall rates due to high
moisture levels in the atmosphere.

* The area of greatest risk is south of a line from Sigourney,
Iowa to Kewanee, Illinois. Here storms may move over the same
areas and produce 1 to 3 inches of rain in a short time
period.
