The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a
dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 9 am EST /8 am CST/
this morning.

Hazardous weather...

* areas of dense fog over central portions of Indiana and Ohio
   are expected to spread slowly north early this morning
   resulting in significant reductions in visibility in the
   advisory area by dawn.

Impacts...

* hazardous driving conditions due to low visibilities.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

* Winds: southeast 10 to 20 knots... veering south after midnight.
Gusts up to 25 knots.

* Waves: 1 to 4 feet.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that sustained winds or frequent
gusts of 22 to 33 knots are likely... and/or waves greater than
4 feet are expected. Inexperienced mariners... especially those
operating smaller vessels should avoid navigating in these
conditions.
