... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect from noon EDT today
through Saturday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of east central Kentucky, northeast Kentucky, south
central Kentucky, and southeast Kentucky. It includes the
Kentucky counties of Bath, Elliott, Estill, Fleming, Menifee,
Montgomery, Powell, Rowan, Johnson, Martin, Laurel, McCreary,
Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne, Whitley, Bell, Breathitt, Clay,
Floyd, Harlan, Jackson, Knott, Knox, Lee, Leslie, Letcher,
Magoffin, Morgan, Owsley, Perry, Pike, and Wolfe.

* It is in effect from this afternoon through early Saturday
morning.

* Showers and thunderstorms with a potential for very heavy
rainfall will move across the area this afternoon and evening.
Precipitation will diminish and exit the region tonight and
early Saturday morning.

* Flash flooding of creeks and streams will be possible.
