... Flood Warning extended until Friday morning... the Flood Warning continues for
the Alabama River near Claiborne dam - tailwater
* until Friday morning.
* At 8 am Tuesday the stage was 48.8 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 42 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by Friday morning.
* At 49 feet... recreational areas around The Lock and dam begin to flood.
* At 42 feet... water begins to inundate the Eureka Landing community.
Access to the community becomes cut-off around 43 feet.

... Flood Warning extended until late Saturday night... the Flood Warning
continues for
the Tombigbee river near LeRoy
* until late Saturday night.
* At 9 am Tuesday the stage was 28.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by Saturday before
midnight.
* At 24 feet... flooding of low lying farm and pasturelands. Cattle in low
lying areas need to be moved to higher ground.

... Flood Warning extended until Saturday morning... the Flood Warning continues
for
the Tombigbee river near Coffeeville dam
* until Saturday morning.
* At 8 am Tuesday the stage was 36.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 29 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by Saturday morning.
* At 40 feet... widespread flooding of Timber and pastureland. Portions of
State Highway 114 east of the river becomes covered by water.
* At 29 feet... pastureland becomes flooded. Livestock need to be moved to higher ground. Old Ferry Road near the river begins to flood.
