Issued: 2:33 AM CDT Apr. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Huntsville al has issued a Flood
Warning
* from late Tuesday night until Friday afternoon.
* At 1 am Monday the stage was 11.3 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early Wednesday morning and
crest near 18.0 feet by late Wednesday night.
* Impact... at 17.0 feet... lowland flooding begins. Some access roads
in the area become flooded. Water backed into Long Pond Slough
begins to approach roads on the Morgan County side of the river.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 18.9 feet
on Jul 11 2013.
