Special Statement
Issued: 5:24 AM EDT Mar. 29, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Locally dense fog mixed with smoke possible this morning...

The combination of fog and smoke will create visibility reductions
this morning across portions of southeast Georgia and northeast
Florida. Visibility may vary drastically over short distances and
be near or below a quarter mile especially near recent wildfire
activity. Low visibility will impact locations along and near the
Interstate 75 corridor from Lake City to Ocala and along and near
the Interstate 10 corridor along and near a Live Oak to Macclenny
line. Other locations near recent fires may also experience
visibility restrictions.

Motorists should remain alert for sudden changes in visibility,
especially in low spots and near marshes, rivers, creeks or lakes,
and near recent wildfire activity.
