... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 600 PM EDT
for central Lewis County...

At 538 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles west of
Stonewall Jackson, or 9 miles west of Weston, moving east at 25 mph.

Hazard... 70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to Mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Weston, Stonewall Jackson, Camden, Walkersville, Alum Bridge and
Horner.

This includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 86 and 103.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to

* until 815 PM EDT

* at 421 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Weston, Jackson Mill, West Milford, Lost Creek, Jane Lew, New
Milton, Avon, Grove and Leopold.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of southeast Ohio and West Virginia, including the
following areas, in southeast Ohio, Athens, Gallia, Jackson
OH, Meigs, Morgan, Perry, Vinton, and Washington. In West
Virginia, Barbour, Braxton, Calhoun, Clay, Doddridge, Gilmer,
Harrison, Jackson WV, Kanawha, Lewis, Mason, northwest
Fayette, northwest Nicholas, northwest Pocahontas, northwest
Randolph, northwest Webster, Pleasants, Putnam, Ritchie,
Roane, southeast Fayette, southeast Nicholas, southeast
Pocahontas, southeast Randolph, southeast Webster, Taylor,
Tyler, Upshur, Wirt, and wood.

* Through Sunday morning

* rounds of showers and thunderstorms, with heavy downpours are
expected through Sunday morning. This coupled with wet soils
across the area could produce flash flooding, especially along
small streams, creeks, low spots and poor drainage areas.
