southeastern Montgomery County in central Maryland...

* until 730 PM EDT

* at 431 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the area. Up to two inches of rain have already
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are
possible. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* until 1030 PM EDT Thursday

* at 426 PM EDT... trained weather spotters reported flooding on
Route 97 near Brooksville. Up to two inches of rain have already
fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Rockville... Olney... Aspen Hill... Redland... Derwood... Brookeville...
Brinklow... Sandy Spring... Ashton and Norbeck.

Additional rainfall amounts of up to one inch are possible in the
warned area.

downpours with rainfall rates of an inch or two per hour at
times. This may result in flash flooding of small streams...
