... Rain mixing with and changing to snow early this afternoon...

Rain continues to transition to snow over the southern
Adirondacks, Lake George Saratoga region and southern Vermont
early this afternoon. This transition will continue further
south into the Mohawk Valley, capital region, and northern
Taconics between noon and 2 PM including between Glens Falls and
Clifton Park along Interstate 87. Temperatures will be in the
lower to mid 30s with light snow accumulations expected on some of
the untreated surfaces ranging from a coating to up to an inch in
a few locations. Visibilities could lower to under a half mile
briefly in the snow. Exercise caution while driving out on the
roads this afternoon with the snow and briefly reduced
visibilities.
