Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 10:05 AM EST Feb. 25, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 2 PM EST this afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a dense fog
advisory, which is in effect until 2 PM EST this afternoon.

* Visibilities... one quarter mile or less in the higher
elevations.

* Timing... until mid afternoon

* impacts... near zero visibility in the higher elevated terrain
including portions of I-684 and I-84.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to one quarter mile or less. If driving... slow down... use
your low beam headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of
you in case a sudden stop is needed.
