... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 1 am to 7 PM EST
Thursday...

* location... Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.

* Winds... west 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Timing... the strongest winds are expected after sunrise on
Thursday continuing through Thursday afternoon. Winds should
begin to diminish a bit by early Thursday evening.

* Impacts... some downed tree limbs are expected. There also is
the risk for isolated power outages.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph are
expected, with gusts between 46 to 57 mph. Winds this strong are
capable of Downing small tree limbs and branches, possibly
causing isolated power outages. Driving can also be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
