... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10 am this morning to
10 PM PST this evening above 1500 feet...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 10 am this
morning to 10 PM PST this evening.

* Locations... Mazama, Twisp, Winthrop, Conconully, Blewett Pass,
and Loup Loup pass.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 5 inches of snow in the mid and upper
Methow Valley and 5 to 8 inches in the mountains.

* Timing... snow will develop by late morning and be heavy at times
this afternoon and early this evening.

* Impacts... driving this afternoon and evening will be treacherous
in the Methow Valley. Travel over Loup Loup pass and from Coles
Corner to Stevens Pass will also be hazardous due to snow
covered roads.
