EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph
expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Hancock and Coastal Washington Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 PM Monday to 5 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and powerlines.
Numerous to widespread power outages are likely. Travel will
be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.

* WHAT...For the Gale Warning, southwest winds 20 to 30 kt with
gusts up to 40 kt and seas 7 to 10 feet expected. For the
Storm Watch, south winds 35 to 45 kt with gusts up to 55 kt
and seas 11 to 16 feet possible.

* WHERE...Intra Coastal Waters from Schoodic Point, ME to
Stonington, ME, Coastal Waters from Eastport, ME to Schoodic
Point, ME out 25 NM and Coastal Waters from Schoodic Point, ME
to Stonington, ME out 25 NM.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, from 7 PM this evening to 10 AM
EST Monday. For the Storm Watch, from Monday evening through
Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Very strong winds will cause hazardous seas which
could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should prepare to remain in port, alter course, and/or
secure the vessel for severe conditions before conditions
deteriorate.
