... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from midnight
tonight to 9 PM MDT Tuesday above 9000 feet...

* locations include... Telluride, Silverton, Rico and many high
Elevation Mountain passes including Red Mountain Pass, Coal Bank
Pass, Molas Pass, Lizard Head Pass and the Uncompahgre Gorge.

* Timing... late tonight through Tuesday evening. Heaviest snow
will occur during the predawn hours Tuesday morning.

* Snow accumulation... 4 to 8 inches with locally higher amounts.

* Winds... west 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Impacts... the moderate to locally heavy snow will make travel
difficult across many mountain passes.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and/or
blowing snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.
