... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from midnight tonight to
11 am EST Friday...

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory... which is in effect from midnight tonight to
11 am EST Friday.

Hazardous weather...

* light rain will become possible late this evening, and change
   over to some sleet and freezing rain overnight.

* Areas north of M-20 will see the best chance of some freezing
   rain, with up to a tenth of an inch likely.

* All precipitation will change over to rain Friday morning as
   temperatures warm above freezing.

Impacts...

* untreated roads and sidewalks will become icy.

* The Friday morning commute will be impacted.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

* the Michigan Department of Transportation reminds motorists
   to adjust speeds based on the conditions... and to take it
   slow in ice and snow.
