==Discussion==

Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous
thunderstorms that may be capable of producing large hail and
torrential rain.

Severe thunderstorms remain over portions of southern Alberta. The
primary threat with these storms will be torrential rain and the
possibility of up to loonie sized hail.

Fast-moving water across a Road can sweep a vehicle away. Rapidly
rising rivers and creeks can sweep away bridges, culverts,
buildings, and people. Large hail can damage property and cause
injury. Intense lightning is likely with any thunderstorm that
develops. Heavy downpours are likely to cause flash floods and water
pooling on roads. Lightning kills and injures canadians every year.
Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors(exclamation mark) severe
thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are
favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce
one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential
rainfall. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by
Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to
storm(at)ec.Gc.CA or tweet reports to (hash)abstorm.
