... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 9 PM this evening
to noon akst Tuesday...

* location... most of the central and southern Panhandle including
the outer coast.

* Snow... 6 to 10 inches.

* Timing... snow will begin late tonight. Heavy snowfall will persist
through midday Tuesday. Light snow will continue through
Tuesday night.

* Impacts... travel will be hazardous. Heavy wet snow will be
difficult to manage.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A warning means that a winter storm is already occurring or
imminent. This storm could pose a threat to life and property.

This statement will be updated by 11 PM akst tonight or sooner if
conditions warrant.
