... High wind watch remains in effect from Tuesday afternoon
through Wednesday afternoon...

* winds... south 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 60 mph.

* Timing... winds will increase late Tuesday and are expected to
peak Wednesday morning into the afternoon before decreasing
late Wednesday.

* Locations include... Gold Beach... Port Orford... Bandon.

* Impacts... strong winds produce hazardous driving conditions on
Highway 101. Saturated soils and high winds could combine to
increase the risk for downed trees and power outages.
