surf warning... which is in effect from noon Friday to 4 PM PST
Saturday.

* Waves and surf... west swell increasing to 16 to 20 feet Friday
afternoon and as high as 24 to 28 feet Friday night and
Saturday. Swell period 14 to 15 seconds.

* Timing... Friday afternoon through Saturday

* impacts... large breaking waves... strong rip currents... and
sneaker waves.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high surf warning indicates that dangerous... battering wave
will pound the shoreline. This will result in very dangerous
swimming conditions... and deadly rip currents.
