... Wind Advisory in effect from 2 PM to 11 PM MST Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 2 PM to 11 PM MST Thursday.

* Timing... strong winds will develop Thursday afternoon and
continue through the evening.

* Winds... southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 50 mph.

* Impacts... winds this strong can make travel difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Blowing dust could also
reduce visibility over the Chinle Valley including portions of
highways 160 and 191.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph... or
gusts from 40 to 57 mph... are expected. Winds this strong can
make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles.
