Issued: 12:22 PM MST Dec. 4, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon MST Monday...

* timing... increasing snowfall with moderate to heavy snow is
expected over the Jackson Valley today... lasting overnight into
early Monday morning before decreasing in intensity through the
rest of the morning hours.

* Total snowfall... possible 5 to 15 inches.

* Wind and visibility... southwest wind 20 to 25 mph with gusts to
35 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow... with
visibility limited to one half mile or less at times.

* Impacts... roads may become slick... slushy and snow packed with
limited visibility at times. People planning outdoor
activities should be prepared for adverse winter weather
conditions and take the proper precautions.
