Freezing Fog Advisory
Issued: 11:45 AM MST Jan. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Freezing fog advisory in effect until 2 PM MST this
afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a freezing fog
advisory, which is in effect until 2 PM MST this afternoon.

* Timing... areas of light freezing drizzle and freezing fog will
persist until 2 PM. Conditions will be worse south of Denver and
near the foothills of Boulder, Jefferson and Douglas counties
below 7500 feet.

* Visibility... visibilities may drop to less than one half mile at
times.

* Impacts... roads, bridges and overpasses will be icy due to the
areas of freezing fog and freezing drizzle.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A freezing fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one half mile. If driving... slow down... use
your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
Also... be alert for ice on bridge decks causing slick roads.
