... Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 11 am this morning to 6 PM
CST this evening...

The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a lake Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 11 am this morning to 6 PM CST
this evening.

* Event... southerly winds will increase to 15 to 20 mph with gusts
to 30 mph late this morning through the afternoon across
southeast Oklahoma and the western sections of East Texas. These
strong winds should gradually diminish tonight.

* Timing... from 11 am to 6 PM CST.

* Impact... winds will likely produce rough chop on area lakes and
waterways, which may be hazardous to boaters.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
