... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from noon CST /11 am MST/
Thursday to 6 PM CST /5 PM MST/ Friday...

The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from noon CST /11
am MST/ Thursday to 6 PM CST /5 PM MST/ Friday.

* Timing... expect snow to develop around noon Thursday and then
diminish around 6 PM Friday.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between 6 PM Thursday
and midnight Friday.

* Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches with locally heavier
amounts possible.

* North winds 15 to 25 mph with higher gusts Thursday and
increasing through the day on Friday.

* Look for significant reductions in visibility, with blowing and
drifting snow at times.

* Impacts... plan on difficult driving conditions. Ranchers
should take precautions to protect Young livestock.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
