... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am CST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a dense
fog advisory, which is in effect until 9 am CST this morning.

* Visibility... areas of dense fog will continue early this
morning and reduce visibility to near one quarter mile or
less.

* Impacts... reductions in visibility will occur over short
distances. Areas of dense fog will impact travel on Highway 60,
Highway 65, Highway 54, Highway 13, and Highway 63 as well as
Interstate 44.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance between your
vehicle and others ahead of you.
