Flood Warning
Issued: 9:01 PM CST Feb. 21, 2017 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Black River near Galesville.
* From late Wednesday night to Sunday afternoon... or until the
warning is cancelled.
* At 8:45 PM Tuesday the stage was 7.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Thursday morning and continue
to rise to near 13.6 feet by Thursday evening. The river is expected
to fall below flood stage by Saturday evening.
* Impact... at 12.0 feet... flooding mainly impacts wildlands and
agricultural pasture land. However the approach to the south end of
the County Road vv bridge over the Black River may be flooded.
