until 4 PM EST /3 PM CST/ this afternoon.

Hazardous weather...

* expect wet snow to continue, diminishing this afternoon. The
heaviest snow will occur through the morning.

* Northerly winds gusting as high as 30 mph will produce blowing
and drifting snow, especially in open areas near Lake
   Superior.

* Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches are expected.
In Marquette County, the most snow will fall over the higher
terrain, including at Negaunee and Little Lake. In Dickinson
County, the most snow will occur east of Iron Mountain,
   including at Norway.

Impacts...

* plan on slippery Road conditions, including during the morning
   commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

* a Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
