Special Statement
Issued: 6:28 AM EDT Apr. 26, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Patchy dense fog developing across much of the region...

Patchy dense continues to develop across the mountain valleys and
southern foothills and Piedmont of North Carolina, and across the
upstate and northeast Georgia early this morning. Visibilities
have been dropping to a quarter mile or lower at times, especially
in the Greenville and Anderson areas. Motorists are urged to use
extra caution on their morning commute, use low beam headlights,
and allow extra time to reach their destinations. The fog should
lift by around 9 am.
