Special Weather Statement
Issued: Environment Canada
Special Weather Statement issued by Environment. 08:11 PM EDT Wednesday 29 March 2017.
A developing low pressure system moving into Missouri will track towards Southern Ontario in the coming days.

Precipitation associated with this system is expected to reach areas southwest of a line from Wingham-Blyth-Northern Huron County to Hamilton near noon Thursday and then spread into rest of the regions late Thursday afternoon. It will likely begin as some snow mixed with rain, then change over to rain by Thursday evening. Periods of rain will then continue through much of Friday before tapering off Friday night. Total rainfall amounts in the 15 to 25 mm range are possible.
Risk of freezing rain is also possibly late Thursday before the mixed precipitation changes to rain.

Caution is advised for travel due to potentially slippery roads prior to the changeover to rain.
