... Coastal Flood Watch remains in effect from this evening
through late tonight...

* locations... shoreline in Anne Arundel County.

* Tidal departure... two to two and a half feet above normal.

* Timing... around the time of high tide. High tide at Annapolis
is at 9:56 PM Monday evening.

* Impacts... up to one foot of inundation above ground level is
possible. At 3.2 feet, water begins to approach businesses on
dock street in Annapolis. The city dock parking lot is
flooded. Compromise street is flooded.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal Flood Watch means that conditions favorable for
flooding are expected to develop. Coastal residents should be
alert for later statements or warnings, and take action to
protect property.
