... The small stream flood advisory for rapid rises remains in effect
until 430 PM MST for east central Cochise County...

At 233 PM MST, the storm over the Chiricahua Mountains has
dissipated and the rain has ended, however over two inches of rain
occurred. Even though the rain has ended the advisory will remain in
effect to account for flood waters moving down the slopes out of the
high terrain.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
kuykendall cut off Rd, E. Rucker Canyon Rd and along Turkey Creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* flood advisory for...
south central Graham County in southeastern Arizona...

* until 415 PM MST

* at 222 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms over the top of Mt Graham. This will cause minor
flooding in the advisory area, especially the northeast slope of
the mountain.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Frye Mesa dam and Mount Graham.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move away from recently burned areas. Life threatening flooding of
creeks, roads and normally dry washes is likely. The heavy rains will
likely trigger Rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep
terrain, especially in and around these areas.

The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* small stream flood advisory for...
southwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...

* until 500 PM MST

* at 156 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding in the
advisory area. Over an inch of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
the Hereford area east of the San Pedro river, south copper glance
Road and low water crossings along south Hereford Road.

Additional rainfall of an inch or more is expected over the area.
This additional rain will make minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of washes
and streams, country roads, and other low lying spots.

At 217 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles west of Bisbee, moving southwest at 5 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Bisbee, Sierra Vista southeast and Junction of highways 80 and 90.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
