Special Statement
Issued: 3:30 PM CDT Mar. 22, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Icy conditions possible Thursday night and Friday morning...

Rain is expected to move into the area on Thursday afternoon, then
transition to freezing rain Thursday night as temperatures cool.
There remains some uncertainty on whether air temperatures will
fall below freezing, however Road temperatures are likely to be
below freezing during this time, which would result in ice
accumulating on untreated roads and pavements. As much as a tenth
to nearly a quarter of an inch of ice is possible. The best
locations for accumulation are north of a line from Wausau to
Shawano to Oconto.

Anyone with travel plans during this period should monitor the
forecast for updated statements and forecasts.
