The Flood Warning continues for
the Yolo bypass near Lisbon.
* At 1:15 am Wednesday the stage was 22.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast to fluctuate near 23.0 ft thru this morning then forecast
to recede to near 22.0 ft early Friday morning.
* Flood stage 19.0 ft
* monitor stage 13.0 ft
* impact... near 22.5 feet, kerney ranch house floods.
* Impact... near 19.0 feet, Mound farms and senator Outing Duck club
are flooded.
* Impact... near 16.0 feet, Glide in ranch is completely flooded.
* Impact... near 15.0 feet, County Road 155 is flooded west of the
Golden sprig Duck club.
* Impact... near 14.0 feet, skyrakers Duck club ponds begin to flood.
* Impact... near 13.0 feet, flood waters extend approximately 1 mile
west of the Tow drain downstream of the Lisbon gage.
* Impact... near 12.0 feet, County Road 107 is flooded.
* Impact... near 11.0 feet, Glide in ranch & Mound farms begin to
flood.
* Impact... near 10.5 feet, local roads on the east side of the Yolo
bypass south of the I-80 causeway are flooded.
* Impact... near 9.5 feet, Yolo bypass flooding extends 1/4 mile west.
No structural damage is occurring.

The Flood Warning continues for
the mokelumne river near benson's Ferry near Thornton.
* From this morning to Thursday afternoon... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 1:15 am Wednesday the stage was 15.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Expected to rise above flood stage of 17.0 ft late this morning
then forecast to rise to near 17.0 ft this afternoon then forecast
to fluctuate near 17.0 ft thru early tomorrow morning.
* Flood stage 17.0 ft
* monitor stage 12.0 ft
* impact... near 17.2 feet, some local farm roads are closed. Low lying
areas along the river are flooded.

... A Flood Warning for urban areas and small streams remains in
effect until 400 PM PST Thursday for Colusa... Yolo... Sutter...
Solano... Plumas... alpine... Placer... Shasta... Lassen... Amador...
Tuolumne... Sacramento... lake... Stanislaus... San Joaquin... El
Dorado... Calaveras... Tehama... Butte... Glenn... Sierra... Yuba and
Nevada counties...

Officials have reported that Clear Creek out of Whiskeytown dam in
Shasta County will exceed the safe channel capacity and will flood.
Downstream locations impacted includes the environmental school and
other residents in low lying areas near the creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

Forecast information for
Sacramento River at Tisdale Weir.
* At 7:15 am Wednesday the stage was 49.8 feet.
* No flooding is currently forecast.
* Present overflow depth is about 4.3 ft then overflow to remain near
depth of 4.2 ft thru late Friday morning.
* Flood stage 53.0 ft
* monitor stage 45.5 ft
* impact... near 45.5 feet, Tisdale Weir crest elevation. Overflow
begins into the Tisdale bypass. This water eventually ends up in
the Sutter bypass.
