The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a

* flood advisory for...
Llano County in south central Texas...

* until 1230 PM CDT

* at 928 am CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kingsland, Llano, Buchanan Dam, Gainesville, Granite Shoals,
Horseshoe Bay, Field Creek, Lone Grove, Bluffton, Valley Spring,
Baby Head, Prairie Mountain, Stolz, Oxford, Tow, Enchanted Rock
station and Sunrise Beach Village.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
