Small Craft Advisory
Issued: 3:40 PM HST Jan. 18, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Small Craft Advisory now in effect until 6 PM HST Thursday...

* winds... east winds 20 to 25 kt over waters south of The Big
Island.

* Seas... building to 10 to 13 feet over waters exposed to large
west northwest swells.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 25 to 33 knots
and/or seas 10 feet or greater are expected to produce conditions
hazardous to small craft. Inexperienced mariners... especially
