... Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Friday afternoon
through Friday evening...

* area and timing... middle Rio Grande Valley and east Central
Plains of New Mexico Friday afternoon through early evening.

* 20 foot winds... 20 to 25 mph with occasional gusts of 35 to 40
mph. Stronger winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts as high as 50
mph will be possible in portions of the east Central Plains.

* Relative humidity... 12 to 15 percent by late afternoon.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
