... Burst of snow expected late this evening through early Tuesday
morning across the Jackson and Star valleys...

An upper level disturbance will bring a line of moderate to heavy
snow showers across the area between 11 PM and 1 am tonight. A
quick one to three inches of snowfall will be possible. Occasional
snow showers will continue through Tuesday morning before tapering
off from the north Tuesday afternoon. Highways will become slick,
slushy or snow covered. Visibility could be reduced to under one
half mile at times in snow.

morning across the Jackson and Star valleys...

Light rain or rain mixed with snow this afternoon will turn to all
wet snow this evening and continue periodically through Tuesday
morning. The heaviest snow is expected tonight... with generally one
to 3 inches of total snowfall accumulation by noon Tuesday.
Highways will become slick, slushy or snow covered. Visibility
could be reduced to under one half mile at times in snow.
