A change in the weather is expected to begin on Thursday as a
series of weather disturbances bring a return of active weather to
the area. This prolonged winter weather event will bring heavy
snow to the mountains, especially those with west southwesterly
facing aspects. In addition to the mountain snows the lower
elevations will also experience periods of moderate snowfall
throughout the second half of the work week into the weekend.
These potentially significant snow events may result in dangerous
driving conditions with snow packed and icy Road conditons,especially
over the mountain passes. Please check the forecast frequently for
updates and also check Road conditions via cdot and udot's web
pages.
