... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until noon CDT today...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northeast Louisiana and Mississippi, including the
following areas in northeast Louisiana, Madison la and Tensas.
In Mississippi, Claiborne, Clarke, Copiah, Covington, Forrest,
Franklin MS, Hinds, Jasper, Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, Jones,
Lamar, Lawrence, Lincoln, Marion, Newton, Rankin, Scott,
Simpson, Smith and Warren.

* Until noon CDT today

* additional heavy rainfall in a short period of time will be
possible and this could lead to flash flooding.

* The flooding of roads, low lying areas, and areas with poor
drainage will be possible. If encountering flooded roadways,
remember to turn around, don't drown.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Monitor later forecasts and be prepared to
