... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from this evening through
Friday morning...

* timing... periods of light snow is expected through the day
Wednesday, before increasing in coverage and intensity by early
evening. The heaviest snowfall should occur between the predawn
hours Thursday and early Thursday afternoon. Snow will continue
Thursday night, before subsiding by midday Friday.

* Snowfall accumulation... ranging from 5 to 8 inches in central
Sweetwater County to up to 15 inches in eastern Sweetwater
County.

* Main impact... roads will become slick and snow covered. Gusty
northerly winds will develop Thursday morning, causing blowing
and drifting snow. This could significantly reduce visibility
and make travel difficult to impossible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow and/or blowing snow that may impact travel. Continue to
monitor the latest forecasts.
