The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
central Nassau County in northeastern Florida...
Duval County in northeastern Florida...

* until 415 PM EDT

* at 117 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms with heavy rain over the area. The rain will cause
flooding. Rainfall at the Jacksonville International Airport was
3.32 inches since around 11 am this morning. Additional rainfall
of 1 to 2 inches are possible.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Jacksonville, Fernandina Beach, Callahan, Jacksonville
international Arpt, Arlington, Yulee, Neptune Beach, Cisco gardens,
San Pablo and Craig Field.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* flood advisory for...
Bradford County in northern Florida...
central St. Johns County in northeastern Florida...
southern Baker County in northeastern Florida...
Union County in northern Florida...
Clay County in northeastern Florida...
southern Duval County in northeastern Florida...

* until 445 PM EDT

* at 151 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Saint Augustine, Orange Park, Green Cove Springs, Starke, Lake
Butler, Raiford, Ponte Vedra Beach, unf, mandarin and Fruit Cove.

Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.
