... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon CST
Saturday...

* event... rain is expected to transition to a wintry mixture before
becoming snow across the western and northern Texas Panhandle as
well as the Oklahoma Panhandle. Snow amounts for this portion of
the combined panhandles are anticipated to range from 1 to 2 inches.
The higher end of snowfall totals are expected across the
southwestern Texas Panhandle. Snow is expected to transition back
to rain by Saturday afternoon.

* Timing... this evening through noon Saturday.

* Impacts... roads... bridges... and overpasses in the advisory
area may become slick and hazardous. Exercise caution if
traveling on area roadways.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
